Ark Royal
I've just returned from a farewell visit to Ark Royal - her final visit to the Tyne where she was built.
I drove past the gates of Swan Hunter (long since closed down) and 'tipped my hat' in reverence. I'll post some photographs later . . .

Having looked at your excellent series of pictures it must have been a poignant moment for you and the crew of the Ark Royal. I am sure she will be missed.
