Blackpool Biz Jets.

I decided to go to Blackpool Airport today and brave the gale force winds, when I got there I was surprised to see three biz jets, G-IRSF, OE-FCB and M-YWAY, I was told that they where diverts that could not land on the IOM because of the stormy weather.

So in addition to the cost of fuel and wages you have to allow for nights away?

I went to Blackpool again this week and there were four biz jets present, two from the States, one from Belgium and one from Switzerland. I was told that they were there for the forthcoming British Open at Royal Lytham. It is looking like we could expect a lot more in the coming days together with biz props and helicopters.

Bizjet movements in 2015 were good and hopefully we will see a return of passenger aircraft returning and taking people on holiday again.
